Microsoft 365 CopilotComing soon
Ask Microsoft 365 Copilot for live web data in your own words. The SpecStream agent shows how it read the request and the most it can cost, then brings back each match with the page its values came from.
SpecStream for Microsoft 365 CopilotAI assistantsThe agent is built. It can't be submitted to Microsoft's store until Microsoft approves SpecStream's publisher account. Until it is in the store, SpecStream works in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, and other assistants through MCP at https://api.specstream.ai/mcp. The setup guides show the steps for each app.
What you need
- A SpecStream account. Create one free.
- Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- A Microsoft 365 admin who has made the agent available to you, if your organization manages agents.
- 1
1. Add the SpecStream agent
Find SpecStream in the Microsoft 365 agent store and add it. An admin may need to approve the agent and assign it to you first.
Then open the SpecStream agent in Copilot.
- 2
2. Connect your SpecStream account
The first time you ask, Copilot asks permission to connect SpecStream and sends you to the SpecStream sign-in. Sign in, or create a free account. You sign in once.
The agent works on the account you sign in with, so that account's balance and spending limits apply.

3. Ask for the data you need
Pick a starter or say what you want and where:
Roofers in Columbus, Ohio rated 4.5 or higher with fewer than 20 Google reviews, with the phone numberThe agent says back in two or three lines what it understood: the kind of thing, what every match must meet, what to bring back for each one, and how many. If something is missing, it asks one short question. To change the request, say what to change.

4. Approve the price
The agent prices the request and tells you the most it can cost, what it covers, and when the price expires. Copilot may ask your permission before it gets the price. Nothing runs and nothing is charged yet.
The agent then asks whether to start for up to that price. When you say yes, Copilot shows its own confirmation before the work starts, and it asks every time. A changed request or a new price needs a new price and a new yes.

5. Read the matches
Runs finish in a few minutes. Ask the agent how yours is going. When it ends, the agent lists each match with its values and the page each value was read from. Possible matches come back separately, labeled possible, and cost nothing.
Ask for a download link to get the matches as a file, or ask the agent to stop a run in progress. Stopping keeps the matches already found.
Find work you already have
Ask for a saved list or for a match inside one, for example "Find my saved lists about local businesses." The agent searches your SpecStream account and links to what it finds. Searching starts nothing and costs nothing.
Keep going in SpecStream
Maps, schedules, and sending records to Google Sheets, Excel, HubSpot, or another tool happen in your workspace. Ask the agent to point you to the list and open it there. A monitor keeps a list current on a schedule, and Connect your tools shows where records can go.
How spending works
The agent starts a list only after your yes to its exact price, and a run can't charge more than the maximum you approved. Adding balance doesn't start any work. The agent never asks for card details in the chat.
If your balance or a spending limit stops a run, the agent says so and sends you to your SpecStream account to add balance or change the limit.
Permissions and data
The agent's only connection is SpecStream's server at api.specstream.ai. SpecStream receives the request you type and your answers about the price. See the privacy policy and security.
Cost
The agent is free. Each list is paid from your SpecStream balance by the match, and the price you approve is the most it can cost. A search with no matches costs nothing. A new account includes $10 of work for 30 days and needs no card.
You add balance on specstream.ai, and Copilot never asks for payment details. Pricing lists the rates, and balance, quotes, and billing explains how a quote turns into a charge.
Remove
Remove the agent in Copilot. To end SpecStream's sign-in for your account, open Agents & API in your workspace, choose OAuth applications, and revoke the connected application. Everything you started from Copilot stays in your workspace. Write to [email protected] if something doesn't work.
More
SpecStream for Microsoft 365 Copilot covers what it does in Microsoft 365 Copilot on one page. Every other tool has its guide in Connect your tools.
