SpecStream judges like an analyst

SpecStream reads the way a good analyst does: your request in your own words, each result’s own pages, and what the rest of the web says about it. Every part of your request gets an answer with its reason and its source, and code checks every number, date and quote.

Two software companies, the same request. One matches. The other is an agency, so it doesn’t count. Each keeps the source behind its decision.

House rules

How every result is judged, with the technical term for each rule.

Every part of the request gets an answer.
Each result is read against your request one part at a time, and every answer comes with a short reason and the page it was read on. per-condition judgment
Lists are read whole.
Rankings, directories and member lists are read as lists, forty entries at a time, each entry judged on the line that names it, and next pages followed. list reading
It reads around the result.
A result’s own pages come first. Filings, listings, profiles and news about it fill in the rest, matched to it by name. cross-source inference
Your words, kept whole.
Ask in any wording or language. Every “or,” every exclusion and every “not” carries through to the results. verbatim interpretation
Numbers are checked by code.
Places, dates, counts, ratings and followers are compared against the value a source published. When a source says otherwise, the source wins. typed fact checks
Quoted results come first.
A result with a quote for every part of the request is marked Verified and listed first. Code confirms each quote is on the page it cites. quote verification
Found twice, counted once.
The same shop from a map listing and a directory is one record, matched on stable identifiers. You pay for it once. entity resolution
Every contact says where it came from.
Every email is one the company published, or one built from its email pattern and marked likely. Every phone number comes with the page it was published on. published or pattern-built
Pages are read as data.
Text on a page can’t change a rule, add a result or send the search somewhere else, however it’s phrased. prompt-injection isolation
Every decision has a fingerprint.
The answers, quotes, sources and dates behind a result are sealed in a receipt. Replay it any time for the same answer, with no new search, for $0. replayable decision receipts
Press it twice, pay once.
Every purchase carries its own key. A retry or a dropped connection recovers the original instead of buying it again. idempotent purchases
Old facts keep their old dates.
Reused facts keep the date they were seen, and archived copies say they’re historical. observation timestamps
Euros stay euros.
An amount keeps the currency it was published in. source currency preserved
Your work trains nothing.
SpecStream doesn’t fine-tune a model on your requests, your lists or your results. no fine-tuning on customer data

Top features

Ask like a person. Get it like a database.

Say what a result must have and what rules it out, how many you need, in what order, and what to bring back. Use the words you’d use with a colleague.

  • Anything worth finding. Local businesses, companies, people, creators, apps, job postings, papers, tenders, grants, repositories, packages, datasets, clinical trials, regulations, vulnerabilities, books, podcasts, pages and documents, and encyclopedia entries.
  • Read as you type. Each finished word lands on the card under the box as a rule or a detail. Your words stay exactly as you typed them, and anything unclear stays marked until you change it.
  • Or just say it. Press the microphone and talk. The words land in the box, and nothing runs until you press Find. The recording isn’t kept.
  • Or start from a template. Requests that already work, for every record type. Change the place or the numbers, then find.

Ask for anything worth finding

Brief SpecStream like you’d brief a friend who knows where to look: what you want, what rules it out, and what to bring back. Works in the workspace and in your own agent over MCP. Click one and it opens in the workspace, ready to run.

Is it for you?

It earns its place when:

Go with if…

  • You need the whole list, the small and the new included
  • Every row has to be one you can act on today
  • Someone will ask how you know, and you want to show them the page
  • You only want to pay for the matches
  • The list keeps working after it arrives: map it, share it, keep it current

Use it with the rest of SpecStream.

Every SpecStream tool works on the same lists, so nothing gets copied from one to the next.

Questions?

From the page it read. Every answer comes with its reason and its source, every email is one the company published or one built from its email pattern and marked likely, and a detail nobody published stays empty. Where sources disagree, you see both.

You get everything it found, and you pay for what it delivers.

Yes. Edit any part before it runs, or save a new revision later. Earlier revisions stay exactly as they were.

SpecStream reads your request in your own words and shows you how it understood it. Then it reads each candidate’s own pages and what other sources say about it, and answers every part of your request with a short reason. Code checks the numbers, dates and quotes. A result counts when every part fits, and those are the only results you pay for. Every decision is saved, so you can replay it for$0: same pages, same answer.

Wherever that kind of thing lives: official registries and filings, maps, directories, job boards, stores, each result’s own website, archived copies of pages, and documents, including scanned ones. Rankings and directories are read whole. It can find a record one way and cross-check it another. Where SpecStream looks.

Local businesses, companies, jobs, tenders, grants, papers, clinical trials, people and more, each with the details it’s known for. See everything you can ask for.
