Schedules
A schedule repeats saved work on a cadence you choose, inside a scope and budget you set. Schedules and their alerts come with Pro and up; a recheck you start by hand works on every plan.
Choose the work.
Start from the saved request and the operation you want to repeat: find more, add details, or refresh. Set the cadence, the timezone, when the permission expires, a maximum per run, and a maximum per period.
A schedule only repeats the exact work you set up. It never rewrites the request into something else.
A list SpecStream found has Watch for new ones under its name until it has a schedule. It opens a new schedule that looks for more results every week. Change the cadence and limits before you save it. You pay only for the new matches.
Each run has its own outcome.
Each run is quoted and charged like any other work. If the balance or permission isn’t there, that occurrence is blocked: nothing runs and nothing is charged. Missed runs are never bought later.
Choose where new records go.
When a run finds something new or changed, SpecStream can tell you in the workspace, the desktop app, and on your phone, post it in a Slack channel, send the new records to a connected tool such as Google Sheets or HubSpot, or call your webhook with monitor.found. Only new and changed records are sent; the ones you already have stay where they are.
The Monitoring list shows each monitor’s last run: how it ended, when it ran, and what it charged.
Understand a recheck.
A completed recheck can confirm that the information is unchanged, show that it changed, or establish that a result no longer matches. An unavailable source stays unresolved.
Reused information keeps its original observation time. Running a schedule doesn’t give old facts new dates.
Stop the schedule separately from the plan.
Canceling a monthly plan stops its future renewals. It doesn’t cancel a separately authorized schedule. Stop the schedule itself when you want the runs to end.
