Balance, quotes, and billing
Your balance
Every verified billing account gets $10 of work once, for its first 30 days, with no card. The account, the API, MCP and every app stay free after that. After that, buy top-ups from $10 in whole-dollar amounts, or choose a monthly plan. Top-ups don’t expire. The free balance isn’t added on top of a paid plan.
A monthly plan’s balance lasts through its billing cycle and one more. People, agents, API clients, and schedules share the same balance. Each plan turns its whole price into work: Pro’s $19 is $19 of work, Scale’s $99 is $99 of work, Team’s $499 is $499 of work.
Plans mark who they’re for with members, never a price per person: Free, pay as you go and Pro are for one person, Scale includes 10 members, Team includes 50 members, and Enterprise as many as you need. Every plan, Free too, can find, map and plan routes, export, send any list to any tool as often as they like, CRMs included, and work from Slack, Teams, the API, MCP and every app. Schedules and their alerts, keeping a sheet in sync, and Zapier, Make and n8n come with Pro and up; keeping a CRM in sync comes with Scale and up.
What a result costs
You pay for each match delivered, at one of three rates set by how many facts it checks or brings back. The quote shows which one applies.
- Standard, $0.10. Up to 5 facts to check or return, with no related list.
- Expanded, $0.30. Up to 15 facts, plus one related list, such as a company’s jobs or a creator’s posts. 10 related records a result are included, then 10¢ for each further 10.
- Deep, $1. Anything beyond Expanded.
A fact you use as a condition and also get back counts once. Retries and backup sources don’t change the price. Add details prices only the new facts you ask for, and a refresh prices the records it rechecks at half the rate.
- A person’s email adds 10¢ to the row’s rate and a phone adds 25¢. An email built from the company’s pattern counts as an email and is labeled likely. Rows without one pay their rate alone.
- A detail you mark as needed: 5¢ for each company checked and left out without it, up to 10 for each row you ask for. Companies that have it are delivered and pay their rate.
- Each row of your own list that SpecStream looks up and checks costs 5¢. A row that matches pays its rate instead of the check. Importing is free.
- Placing imported addresses on the map is free.
A quote comes before new work.
A quote covers the exact request revision and operation: how many results or which saved records, the required facts, the useful minimum, and the approved maximum. It shows the rate per result, the quantity, the useful minimum, and the most you can be charged. Lowering the useful minimum doesn’t raise the rate. A quote is valid for 30 minutes, and once you approve it, its terms don’t change.
Changing the scope, or letting the quote expire, means a new quote. Adding balance doesn’t start any work.
What you’re charged
Your approved maximum is set aside before the work starts. When finding new records, you’re charged only for results that match, at the quoted rate, and the price of anything the run couldn’t find goes back to your balance automatically. Nothing found, nothing charged. The run’s receipt shows what came back, for example “Refunded $1.20 for 1 result we couldn’t find.”
Stop running work at any time and you keep what already matched, at the quoted rate. The checks already underway finish first, and the charge can never exceed the maximum you approved.
A completed refresh can confirm that nothing changed or that a record no longer matches. Those completed checks can be charged. A blocked, unresolved, or unreached check is not a successful check.
Work you already own
Reading, organizing, comparing, exporting, and sharing saved work doesn’t buy it again. Additional results, new details, and rechecks are new work, each with its own quote.
Changes and cancellation
Change your plan from the website, the workspace, or the app. An upgrade starts right away: you pay the difference for the rest of the billing cycle, and your balance goes up by the bigger plan’s extra balance for the same days. A downgrade or a cancellation starts when the cycle you’ve paid for ends, and you keep your current plan until then.
Canceling stops future renewals and keeps your saved work and purchased balance. Monthly balance you’ve already received keeps its original expiry. Schedules have their own permission, so stop them separately if you want them to end.
A plan bought in the app through the App Store or Google Play is charged, renewed, and refunded by that store. Only Apple can change a plan billed through the App Store, so change it in the app on your iPhone or iPad, or in your Apple Account’s subscriptions.
