Zoom
Ask SpecStream for live web data without leaving Zoom Team Chat. Type /specstream and what you need in plain words: companies, local businesses, people at companies, job posts, filings, tenders, grants. SpecStream reads it back, shows the most it can cost, and runs it on your own account when you approve. Every value comes with the page it came from.
Add to Zoom
Add to Zoom- Click Add to Zoom, or find SpecStream in the Zoom App Marketplace and click Add. From the button, sign in to SpecStream or create a free account first.
- Zoom shows what the app can do. Click Allow. If your Zoom account restricts apps, an admin may need to approve SpecStream first.
- Zoom opens a chat with SpecStream, which says hello and explains how to ask.
Connect your account
The first time you ask, SpecStream asks you to connect your own SpecStream account, so every request runs and bills on it. Click Connect SpecStream, sign in, and send your request again. Each person connects their own account, and SpecStream's replies are visible only to the person who asked.
Ask for data
Type /specstream followed by your request in any chat or channel, for example:
/specstream dentists in Austin with their phone number
In your chat with SpecStream you can also type the request on its own. SpecStream replies with how it read the request and the most it can cost, with a button to Approve that amount. Nothing runs until you click it. If fewer results match than the reply says, you pay nothing and none are kept.
Get the results
When the run ends, SpecStream tells you how many matches it found. Click Get CSV for a private download link that works once, or Open workspace to see the list with the page behind every value. Balance is only added in the workspace, never from chat.
Your lists
Type /specstream lists to see up to ten of your lists, newest first, with how many rows each has and a link to open it. Say hello or type help in your chat with SpecStream to see the welcome message again.
Permissions and data
The app asks Zoom for one permission, imchat:userapp, to run the SpecStream chatbot in Team Chat.
SpecStream doesn't read your messages, channels, files or contacts. It sees only what you send to SpecStream, with /specstream or in your chat with it, and the buttons you click in its replies. Each message is kept encrypted only until SpecStream replies. To link you to your SpecStream account, SpecStream keeps your Zoom account and user IDs. Your requests and lists live in your SpecStream account, like the ones you make in the workspace. See the privacy policy and security.
How SpecStream uses AI
SpecStream uses AI models to read your request and the pages it collects, so results can be wrong. Every value carries the page it came from and when it was read, so you can open the source. The AI services SpecStream uses don't keep what they read and may not train their models on it.
Cost
The Zoom app is free on every plan. Runs are paid from your SpecStream balance, only for the results that match, and every one shows the most it can cost before it starts. New accounts get $10 of work free, no card. See pricing and balance, quotes and billing.
Remove
In the Zoom App Marketplace, open Manage, then Added Apps, and click Remove next to SpecStream. Zoom tells SpecStream, which deletes the link between your Zoom user and your SpecStream account. Lists you made stay in your SpecStream workspace until you delete them there. The other tools SpecStream works with are in Connect your tools. For help, email [email protected].
