AlbatoComing soon
Start a request for live web data from an Albato bundle, then read the records as plain named fields with the page each came from. Bundles can start when a request finishes or when a saved one finds something new.
SpecStream for AlbatoAutomationSpecStream's Albato app is on Albato's moderation and isn't in the catalog yet. Until it is, a webhook created in Agents & API can start a bundle that begins from a webhook, and each delivery carries the records as flat named fields in flat_rows.
What you need
- An Albato account.
- A SpecStream account, and a key for Albato to use.
- 1
1. Add SpecStream in Albato
Find SpecStream in Albato's app catalog and add it to a bundle.
- 2
2. Create an API key
Creating a key takes one dialog: Agents & API, the API keys tab, Create API key.
Turn on Read saved requests, Create and edit requests, Read results and their sources, Prepare work and follow-ups, Authorize paid work, and Read account and balance. Keep the key's Project set to All your projects.
You can put a Total spending limit on the key. Add the account's spending limit too: Set a spending limit under Usage and billing in Settings.
The key is shown once. Copy it before you leave the page.
- 3
3. Connect your key
Albato authorizes with an API key. Paste the key when you connect SpecStream to the bundle.
- 4
4. Start a request
Add the Start a request action. Write the request in your own words, for example "coffee shops in Austin, Texas with their website and rating". Then set how many results you want and the most the request may cost, in dollars. The request never spends above that maximum, and only matching records are paid. The action returns the request ID.
- 5
5. Get the records
Get records takes the request ID and returns each record as flat named fields, with the page it was read from. Name, website, email, phone, and address use the same field names for every kind of record, so a later step can map them without knowing what you asked for.
- 6
6. Start a bundle from new data
Request finished starts a bundle when a request completes. New record in a saved request starts one for each new record that a saved request finds.
A monitor repeats a request on a schedule, so new records turn up over time. Keep it current on a list in SpecStream starts one.
What arrives
| Field | What it holds |
|---|---|
id, list_id, list_link, position | The record's ID, its list, a link to the list in your workspace, and its place in it. |
name, website, email, phone, address | The record's own value for each, when it has one. |
summary | The values the list shows for the record, on one line. |
source_url | The web page behind the record's first value. |
checked_at | The time the page was read. |
| Other fields | Every remaining value under its short name. |
Limits and cost
The app is free to use. Requests are paid from your SpecStream balance, only for matching records, and the maximum you set caps each one. Current rates are in balance, quotes, and billing.
Disconnect
Removing the connection in Albato and revoking the key in Agents & API ends access. Records a bundle already delivered stay where they went. If something looks wrong, ask [email protected].
