Dograh
Give a Dograh voice agent a lookup during a live call: it reads records you already have in SpecStream, each with its source, and uses them in the conversation.
SpecStream for DograhAgent frameworks & buildersWhat you need
- A Dograh account or a self-hosted Dograh, with a voice agent workflow.
- A SpecStream account with a saved list or a finished run. New accounts get $10 of work on sign-up, no card. Create one.
- 1
1. Create a SpecStream API key
Dograh's MCP tool signs in with a bearer token, so use an API key. In SpecStream, open Agents & API, choose API keys, then Create API key, and set a total spending limit. Copy the key.
- 2
2. Create a Bearer Token credential in Dograh
In Dograh, create a credential with Credential Type set to
Bearer Token, and paste the SpecStream key as the Token. Dograh sends it asAuthorization: Bearer <key>on the MCP connection, and the LLM never sees it. - 3
3. Add SpecStream as an MCP tool
Go to Tools and create a new tool. Choose MCP Server. Enter
SpecStreamas the name, and a description that says when the agent should use it, for exampleLook up saved lists of companies and their contact details.Paste
https://api.specstream.ai/mcpas the URL and select the Bearer Token credential. Save the tool and confirm that Dograh discovered SpecStream's tools. - 4
4. Limit the tool to reading
Set a tool filter so a live call can only read results:
list_collections,get_collection,list_find_rowsandsearch_workspace. Starting a new run, which spends from your balance, then stays with you in the workspace or your coding agent. - 5
5. Attach it to a node
Open the workflow node where the lookup belongs, add the SpecStream tool from the node's tool list, and select only the functions that node needs. In the node prompt, say when to use them:

What happens when you ask
The agent reads rows from your saved lists. Each value carries the source URL and read time it came from. To get new records, ask SpecStream from the workspace or an assistant: it reads the request back and quotes the most it can cost, and nothing runs until you approve that price.
Cost
Connecting SpecStream to Dograh is free. Reading a request and pricing it cost nothing. Each matching row costs 5¢, 15¢ or $1, depending on how much the row needs, plus 5¢ for a person's email and 15¢ for a phone. A quote lasts 30 minutes, a run can't cost more than the maximum you approved, and a run that finds nothing costs nothing. Balance, quotes, and billing has the details.
Disconnect
Delete the SpecStream tool in Dograh, then open Agents & API in your workspace, choose API keys, and revoke the key. Your saved results stay in your workspace. Questions go to [email protected].
