SpecStream for Microsoft Excel
SpecStream fills an Excel workbook on OneDrive or SharePoint with live web data, one row per match with its sources beside it. A refresh adds the new ones.
What you get
- Starts below your last rowNew matches go under the last row that holds data, in the worksheet and columns you matched, and a changed record rewrites the row it went to.
- ZIP codes keep their zerosEach cell is set to Text before the value goes in, so 02134 stays 02134 and a long registry number never turns into 1.2E+15.
- Your workbook on a mapLink a workbook of addresses from OneDrive or SharePoint and SpecStream puts every row on a map for free, then rereads the file daily for new rows.
Where it works
Set it up
- In SpecStream, open Connections, choose Microsoft Excel, and sign in with the Microsoft account that holds the workbook.
- Pick the .xlsx file and the worksheet, then match each detail to a header in row 1, keeping one column for the export reference.
- Read the preview of the first row, send, and turn on Keep sending so new matches join below and changed ones update their row.
