SpecStream for OpenClaw
Install the SpecStream plugin from ClawHub and your OpenClaw agent gets live web data as JSON rows, inside a price ceiling you set.
What you get
- The agent can only go lowerSet maxPriceUsd once. The agent can lower the ceiling on any call but never raise it, and a quote above it runs nothing.
- Rows as JSONspecstream_find_list returns state, list_id, list_link and rows, and each row carries its source_url and the time it was read.
- Retries don't buy twiceRepeat the same request with the same limits within the hour and it reaches the run already started, so a flaky turn never pays for the list again.
Set it up
- Run openclaw plugins install clawhub:@specstream/openclaw-plugin. It needs OpenClaw 2026.10.3 or newer.
- Create a SpecStream API key under Agents & API and export it as SPECSTREAM_API_KEY.
- Set the most one list may cost with openclaw config set plugins.entries.specstream.config.maxPriceUsd 5, then ask your agent.
