SpecStream for Perplexity
With SpecStream connected, Perplexity answers questions that belong in a spreadsheet with records from the live web, one per match, each with its source.
What you get
- Datasets with their licenseAsk for datasets on urban tree canopy published since 2020 under an open license, and each comes back with its publisher, its license and the page that says so.
- Send it to your editorShare a fixed copy of the results by link. A colleague or an editor opens the records without a SpecStream account.
- OAuth or an API keyChoose OAuth 2.0 to sign in to SpecStream, or API Key to paste a key that carries its own projects, expiry and spending limit.
Set it up
- Go to Account settings, then Connectors, click + Custom connector in the top right, and choose Remote.
- Name it SpecStream and paste https://api.specstream.ai/mcp as the MCP Server URL.
- Set Authentication to OAuth 2.0 and Transport to Streamable HTTP, then sign in to SpecStream.
