SpecStream for Gemini
Connect SpecStream and Gemini answers requests for companies, places and people with records from the live web, each detail linked to the page it was read from. It works in the Gemini app and in the Gemini CLI.
What you get
- Ready on your phoneAdd the custom app once at gemini.google.com and the Gemini app on your phone has it too.
- @ to call it inType @ and pick SpecStream so Gemini sends the request its way.
- Gemini CLI, same balanceAdd an httpUrl entry to ~/.gemini/settings.json and run /mcp auth specstream. Sign in with your SpecStream account and the terminal spends from the balance your chats use.
Where it works
Set it up
- On a computer, go to gemini.google.com, click Settings, then Connected Apps, and under Custom apps choose Add a custom app.
- Paste https://api.specstream.ai/mcp, click Next, sign in to SpecStream, and review what Gemini asks for.
- In Gemini CLI, add SpecStream to ~/.gemini/settings.json with the server address as httpUrl, then run /mcp auth specstream.
