SpecStream for Slack
Ask SpecStream for live web data from any Slack channel or DM with /specstream, and approve the price in a reply only you see. Results arrive in the conversation, and monitors can post new matches to a channel.
What you get
- A CSV in the replyThe finished reply carries a private CSV link that works once. Its other button opens the list in your workspace, where every value links to the page it came from.
- Monitors post to a channelTurn on Post in Slack in a monitor and name the channel. Each run with new or changed records posts their names there and a button to open them.
- Slackbot can ask tooIn a DM with Slackbot, click Apps, then + next to SpecStream. Ask in conversation, like roofing contractors in Phoenix with a phone, and approve the price it shows.
Set it up
- Click Add to Slack, sign in to SpecStream or create a free account, then pick the Slack workspace and click Allow.
- Type /specstream in any channel or DM. The first time, connect your own SpecStream account so every request bills to it.
- Ask, for example /specstream dentists in Austin TX rated 4.5 or higher with a phone number, and click Approve. /specstream lists shows your latest lists.
