SpecStream for Trae
SpecStream is the live web data engine for teams and agents. Add SpecStream to Trae as an MCP server, and Trae's agent can ask for records from the live web while it builds. The price shows before anything runs.
What you get
- Real data while you build
- Ask for craft breweries in Denver with website and tap list, and put them in the app. The agent gets one record per brewery, with the source on every value.
- One setting
- Paste one JSON entry in Settings, then MCP. It works in every project, or in one project if you keep the entry in .trae/mcp.json.
- A price before the run
- The agent brings back the most the request can cost before anything runs, at 5¢, 15¢ or $1 a matching row. A run that finds nothing costs nothing.
Set it up
- In Trae, open Settings, then MCP, and choose Add, then Create Manually.
- Paste an entry for SpecStream with the url https://api.specstream.ai/mcp and your API key as a header.
- Confirm, then ask the agent.
