SpecStream for Devin Desktop

SpecStream is the live web data engine for teams and agents. Devin Desktop, formerly Windsurf, asks SpecStream for live web data from its agent and gets structured records back. Add the server to an MCP config file and sign in from the MCPs tab.

What you get

OpenSSL CVEs with fixed versions
Ask for vulnerabilities published for OpenSSL in the last 90 days, with the CVSS score and the version that fixes each one. Each one comes back as a record.
A personal file for the key
Put the API key header in .devin/mcp_config.local.json, which stays gitignored. The shared .devin/mcp_config.json holds only the server URL.
Sign in from the MCPs tab
There are no client credentials to set up. When SpecStream needs a sign-in, the MCPs tab shows Needs authentication, and Authenticate opens it in your browser.

Set it up

  1. In the Agents window, select Customize in the agent sidebar, open the MCPs tab, and set Install MCPs for to This computer.
  2. Add SpecStream to .devin/mcp_config.json, .devin/mcp_config.local.json, or ~/.config/devin/mcp_config.json, with transport set to http.
  3. Select Authenticate in the MCPs tab, sign in to SpecStream, and ask the agent for the data.

The full setup guide has every step, with what to do if something doesn’t arrive.
