SpecStream for Vercel
@specstream/ai-sdk gives generateText, streamText, and ToolLoopAgent live web records in TypeScript. Every row carries its source page and the time it was read.
What you get
- Fits a function's time limitWith waitSeconds under your function's timeout, a run still going returns its listId and the agent reads the rest with specstream_get_list_results.
- Two inputs for the modelThe zod schemas give the model request and maxResults to fill in and keep maxPriceUsd in your TypeScript.
- SpecStreamClient without a modelA route handler can call findList on the exported SpecStreamClient and render each row.
Where it works
Set it up
- Run npm install @specstream/ai-sdk ai zod on Node 18 or later, with AI SDK 6 or 7.
- Add SPECSTREAM_API_KEY to your project's environment variables, with a key from Agents & API in SpecStream.
- Pass specstreamTools({ maxPriceUsd: 5 }) as tools to generateText, streamText, or a ToolLoopAgent.
