# SpecStream for LibreChat

SpecStream is the live web data engine for teams and agents. Add SpecStream to librechat.yaml as a streamable-http server, and your chats and agents can ask for records from the live web and show the price first.

## What you get

Records in the chat

Ask for independent pharmacies in Lyon with website and opening hours. The chat gets one record per pharmacy, with the source on every value.

Your own account

Sign in once. Requests run on your SpecStream account, with its balance and spending limits.

A price before the run

The agent brings back the most the request can cost before anything runs, at 5¢, 15¢ or $1 a matching row. A run that finds nothing costs nothing.

## Set it up

1.  Add a specstream entry under mcpServers in librechat.yaml with type streamable-http, the url https://api.specstream.ai/mcp and requiresOAuth: true.
2.  Restart LibreChat.
3.  In a chat, open the + palette, click SpecStream under MCP Servers, select Continue with OAuth, then ask.
