Ask the question the way you'd brief a research assistant. SpecStream reads the registries, publishers and government sites where that kind of record lives, including PDFs, Word and Excel files and scanned pages, and checks each record against every part of the question. When a passage settles a point, the row carries the exact quote and its source. PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, EPUB and OpenDocument files are read like pages, and scanned pages go through OCR. ### **Can it read paywalled journals?** No. It reads what is public and doesn't sign in or pass paywalls. Open-access versions, abstracts and registry entries are public, and it reads those. ### **How do I cite it?** Cite the source each value links to.
