# Gumloop

Use SpecStream from Gumloop agents. Ask for companies, places, or records in plain words, approve the price, and get each match with the page it came from.

[SpecStream for GumloopAgent frameworks & builders](https://specstream.ai/integrations/gumloop.md)

## What you need

- A Gumloop account. Custom MCP connectors work on every Gumloop plan.
- A SpecStream account. Creating one is free.

1. 1

    ## 1. Add the connector

In Gumloop, open the **Connectors** page in your profile settings. Open the arrow next to **Add Connector** and choose **Add MCP Connector**.

Choose **Public URL**, enter `https://api.specstream.ai/mcp`, and click **Connect**.

2. 2

    ## 2. Sign in to SpecStream

Gumloop detects that SpecStream signs in with OAuth. Click **Authenticate**, sign in or create a free account, and approve what Gumloop asks for. Requests run on the account that signs in, with its balance and spending limits.

To use an API key instead, paste a key from **Agents & API** in SpecStream into the token field. Gumloop sends it as a Bearer token.

3. 3

    ## 3. Add SpecStream to an agent

Open the agent, go to **Connectors**, click **Add Connector**, and pick SpecStream. A connector added in Settings reaches an agent only after this step.

4. 4

    ## 4. Ask for data

Describe what you need and where, the way you'd say it to a colleague:

`Independent dental practices in Austin, with their website, phone, and the owner's name`

SpecStream reads the request back, then quotes the most it can cost and when the price expires. Nothing runs until you approve that price. A run takes a few minutes, and each match comes back with its values and the page each value was read from. Possible matches come separately, at no cost.

## Headers and models

Gumloop doesn't forward custom headers when an agent runs on an Anthropic model. Sign in with OAuth or use the token field, which works with every model.

## Cost

Connecting SpecStream to Gumloop is free. SpecStream bills your balance per match, a request that finds nothing is free, and a run can't cost more than the maximum you approved. New accounts get $10 of work for 30 days without a card. [Balance, quotes, and billing](https://specstream.ai/docs/billing.md) has the details.

## Disconnect

Remove SpecStream from **Connectors** in Gumloop. To end its sign-in on the SpecStream side, open **Agents & API** in your workspace, choose **OAuth applications**, and revoke Gumloop. Your saved results stay put. Questions go to [support@specstream.ai](mailto:support@specstream.ai).

## More

[SpecStream for Gumloop](https://specstream.ai/integrations/gumloop.md) covers what it does in Gumloop on one page. Every other tool has its guide in [Connect your tools](https://specstream.ai/docs/integrations.md). You see the most a request can cost before it starts, and the matches are paid from your balance. [Billing](https://specstream.ai/docs/billing.md) has the details. For help, email [support@specstream.ai](mailto:support@specstream.ai).
