# We build the live web data engine.

SpecStream finds the data no one sells. Ask in your own words and it reads the live web for every match. Teams use it in the workspace; agents use it over the API and MCP.

The data that matters most isn’t for sale. A data vendor’s database was collected months ago, so the café that opened in the spring and the company that filed with the state last week aren’t in it. The other way is forty tabs, a spreadsheet and an afternoon, and the same afternoon again when the data goes stale.

SpecStream does that afternoon’s work for every request. It reads the web as it is today, keeps going until the data is complete, and bills for the rows that fit.

You see how SpecStream read your request, and the price, before anything runs. It goes where each kind of thing is listed: registries, maps, directories, job boards, and each result’s own site. What comes back is structured data. Save the request and it keeps the data current on a schedule, with each change marked.

It’s for sales teams building territories, agencies looking for clients, bid teams watching for tenders, researchers, founders, and the agents they hand the work to. Every plan finds the same data at the same rates, and an agent shares the same workspace, results, and balance.
